Terms and Conditions

Last updated 14 September 2026. This page describes how this shop works in plain English. It is not legal advice.

Who you are contracting with

Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, trading as Kids Playhouse Company. Contact: theteam@kidsplayhouse.net. Canada administration: 240 Richmond St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1V6, Canada.

Using this website

By using this site you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over to place an order; anyone younger should use the site with a parent or guardian. You may not upload or send anything unlawful, harmful or infringing through the site, copy its content for commercial use, or try to disrupt it. We may refuse service or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the conduct behind it is unlawful.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. That offer is accepted when we dispatch the goods, and that is when the contract is made. If we cannot supply something you have ordered, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are the amount you pay for the goods. Delivery, where it applies, and any discount are shown in the cart before you pay.

Payment is due in full at checkout and is taken through Stripe or PayPal. We never receive or store your card details.

Delivery

Delivery costs and timeframes are set out on the shipping page and form part of these terms.

Returns and cancellations

Your rights if something is faulty, our own 15 day change of mind policy, and the fees that apply to cancellations and change-of-mind returns are set out on the refunds and returns page and form part of these terms.

Using children's play equipment

Assemble, install and anchor each product as its instructions describe, follow its age guidance and weight limits, and supervise children while they play. Check products before each use and stop using anything with a damaged or missing part. Swings, climbing equipment, trampolines and play frames need a suitable fixing point or level ground and clear space around them. Those instructions form part of these terms.

Your consumer rights

The consumer protection legislation of the province you live in applies to this sale, and the federal Competition Act prohibits false or misleading representations. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes either of them.

This website's content

The content of this site is ours or licensed to us and is for your personal use in shopping here. We may change the site and these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Nothing in this clause takes away a consumer's right to bring a claim in the province where they live, or to use its small claims court.
